Level IV Ballistic Plate (UHMWPE) NIJ .06 Certified
Type IV compliance for hard armor inserts or plates requires that specimens be tested in a conditioned condition with .30 caliber armor-piercing (AP) bullets (US military designation M2 AP) with a specified weight of 10.8 g (166 gr) and a velocity of 878 m /s ± 9.1 m/s (2880 ft/s ± 30 ft/s).

Lvl marked vests. IV have been designed to effectively eliminate projectiles of the following types:
· AK47 – 7.62 x 39 API (armor-piercing round)
· 7.62 x 54 R (the bullet used in the popular DRAGUNOV sniper rifle)
· 5.45 x 39
· 5.56 x 45 (.223 Rem) M855
· 7.62 x 51mm NATO, M80 - .308
Thus, when a bullet hits a body armor, it is caught in what is known as "web" of very strong fibers. These fibers absorb and dissipate the impact energy that is transferred to the body armor from the bullet, causing the bullet to deform. Additional energy is absorbed by each subsequent layer of material in bulletproof vests until the projectile stops.
Because the fibers work together both in a single layer and with other layers of material in the vest, a large area of body armor is involved in preventing bullet penetration. This also helps to dissipate forces that can cause non-penetrating injuries to internal organs.
Certificates:
Each bulletproof product is certified. The products are tested by independent, external entities.
